Welcome to Crusaders!

Crusaders is a king of the hill like gamemode with four main kingdoms and four sub-kingdoms. Each kingdom has a unique set of armor and weapons, so no kingdom can completely counter another kingdom.

How to Win

At the center of the map, there is a structure with a beacon shooting up to the sky. Inside the structure are four zombies:one for each of the main kingdoms. When the terracotta under one of the zombies is broken, the game will end, granting the winning team one level to be used at the shop, and resetting the game. This is most commonly referred to by the developers as "game-ending".

Beware the Stone Gaints!

Main Kingdoms

The four main kingdoms are Aquarius, Gemini, Sagittarius, and Taurus. These are the only kingdoms that can "game-end". All members of a team get one level of experience for each win that they earn.

Aquarius

Aquarius is a water-themed kingdom, equipped with a trident and full leather armor. Their tridents sport a nasty bite, especially when combined with Zeus's Wrath.

Gemini

Gemini is a technologically advanced kingdom, although not the only kingdom to dabble with electronics. They are equipped with a diamond helmet diamond boots. The boots give the player speed two, and the weapons of choice for the Gemini Kingdom is an Energy Blade and an Energy Bow. There have also been some archeological projects happening as well.

Sagittarius

The Sagittarius kingdom is a nature-bound kingdom with a Centaur's Sabre and a Centaur's Bow with amazing power. The Sagittarius kingdom has a golden chestplate and boots for armor.

Taurus

The Taurus kingdom is the brute of the bunch, sporting a chainmail chestplate and boots with projectile protection and the Bull's Horns. Don't let this kingdom fool you, however. What it lacks it range it more than makes up for in melee strength. Also, say hello to the Taurus pet, Queen Clucky! (courtesy of cjmickeymouse)

Sub-Kingdoms

The sub-kingdoms have the complete opposite role in the game as the main kingdoms do: they benefit from prolonging the game. Sub-kingdoms get a steady trickle of experience points by standing near the center of the map. Sub-kingdoms also have 'side quests' that they can embark on, either to call upon some more firepower, to support their teammates in battle, or to debiliate their opponents with unforseen items.

Paladins

The Paladins are the knights of the server, equipped with a shield as well as an iron helmet and chestplate. They also wield an iron greatsword, which does great against hordes of enemies at the cost of a longer reload time. Chris runs Ye Olde Bar, selling rewards to dedicated Paladins.

Oracle

The Oracle kingdom is a kingdom native to the End. Oracle members use magical books to summon weapons of great power, and they have a trading villager named Barry near the Paladin Kingdom.

Pioneers

Land ho! Pioneers are a sea-faring kindgom southwest of the Taurus Kingdom. Although the pirates are glad to do some plundering, Randy has set up a fishery next to the Paladin Kingdom. Man, Paladins sure are popular huh?

Ionizers

Ionizers are the most technologically advanced kingdom in the game. They do not start off with gear like other kingdoms, but instead craft them using varius resources on their mothership. The crashed fighter jet may also have some peculiar recipes.

Dungeons

For those not wanting to gain experience levels by going to the temple, an alternative are the dungeons. Dungeons are special events that give experience points to those who complete challenges inside of them. So far, only one dungeon is available, but more will be added.

About

Crusaders is a 1.14 server, meaning that the combat system is also 1.14 combat. Certain kingdoms will have weapons with shorter or longer weapon cooldowns, but clicking as fast as you can is no longer a viable attack option.

The server will be up all the time unless the computer hosting the server is overworked. Hope to see you online! IP address: crusaders.petersonfoundation.com
